Acer Launches New Quad Core Tablet

Acer today introduced their newest tablet, Iconia A511, to market the country. 10 inch size, this is the first Acer tablet that uses a 1.3 GHz quad core processor, NVIDIA Tegra 3.

Iconia A511 offers the high quality graphics and convenient to use as a multimedia and entertainment devices.

The tablet has a dimension of 260 x 175 x 10.95 mm with a weight of 685 grams. It's fairly thin and light for 10 inch tablet.

10.1 inch screen on the tablet is equipped with a WXGA Full HD 1280x800p resolution or equivalent. In addition, the tablet can be run on 3G and LTE networks.

In addition to quad-core processor NVIDIA Tegra 3, Android-based tablet (can be upgraded to the Ice Cream Sandwich) is also equipped with 1 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. In addition, there is also a microSD slot for up to 32 GB.

For the camera, Iconia A511 is equipped with a 5MP camera with a 2592x1944p resolution and autofocus, as well as front 2MP camera. As for the video at 1080p @ 30fps.

Unlike the previous Iconia, A511 is also equipped with a micro USB to USB adapter. This makes it easy to transfer data via USB cable from another device to the Acer Iconia A511.
